The company Terrafugia announced a flying car prototype that can take off from anywhere, thanks to its helicopter blades, and also has electric motor.
The Terrafugia TF-X has the advantage of not need a long runway to take off, reaching flight only with a helipad to take off. 300 HP engine allows the vehicle to reach speeds of 320 km / h. On top of that, the TF-X will be partially controlled by a computer with a system that will automatically avoid restricted airspace, bad weather and local very congested.
The company announced that the price should be in the range of the "current luxury vehicles." Development is expected to take 6–12 years.
