Matthew «Matt» Harding es un estadounidense proveniente de Westport (Connecticut) que comenzó un viaje alrededor del mundo después de trabajar en la industria del videojuego en Brisbane, Australia. Mientras viajaba les pedía a otros que le grabaran bailando delante de edificios importantes, escenas callejeras y paisajes naturales. Con estas escenas montó un vídeo al que añadió la música de «Sweet Lullaby» (Nature's Dancing 7" Mix), de Deep Forest.
Matt apareció en Buenos Días América (Good Morning America) debido a la cobertura del huracán Katrina. El 31 de mayo de 2006, apareció bailando fuera de los estudios del Times Square frente a una pantalla en la cual se mostraban pequeñas escenas de sus vídeos bailando en algunos lugares del mundo.
En octubre del 2010, visitó Venezuela como parte de su última gira bailando convocando un nutrido grupo de asistentes en la Concha Acústica del Parque Generalisimo Francisco de Miranda, también conocido como Parque del Este, ubicado en Caracas, capital de ese país.
En Junio de 2012, publica su más reciente video Where the Hell is Matt? 2012 , esta vez más acompañado por muchas personas habitantes de los lugares que visita y con un toque más divertido y contagioso.
