【FIGHT FOR JUSTICE】 the Japanese Military “Comfort Women” issue website

Scholars who have carried out a great deal of research and fact-finding regarding the ‘Comfort Women’ issue opened a website “FIGHT FOR JUSTICE : Resistance to Forgetting & Responsibility for the Future” based on clear sources and evidence such as materials and testimonies.

Yoshiaki Yoshimi , Prof. (Chuo University) and Hiroshi Hayashi , Prof. (Kanto Gakuin) held a press conference on Aug. 1 in Tokyo. In an interview, Buja Kim , Prof. (Tokyo University of Foreign Studies) pointed out that the Internet is full of distorted informations about the ‘Comfort Women’ issue. “The site intents to resist those who distort and encourage the forgetting of the facts of the ‘Comfort Women’ issue, and to share in our responsibility to communicate the real story for the future.” she said.

The site is organized in four sections labeled “Introduction,” “Q&A,” “Solution” and “Testimonies.”
