【North Korea】 South Korea sent First Humanitarian Aid to North Korea Under New Administration

Seoul sent its first shipment of humanitarian aid to North Korea since President Park Geun-hye took office on Feb. 25. The government approved a proposal by South Korean private charity Eugene Bell to send over US$600,000 worth of tuberculosis medicine to eight clinics run by the group in North Korea in March. And the shipment was delivered on April 11. The aid was strictly for humanitarian purposes.
